New Facility Grand Opening
May Heavy-Equip is proud to announce the opening of its newest facility in Columbia, SC. A grand opening ceremony was held on December
14, 2006 to celebrate the event. Live music was performed for a crowd of 200 by Jackie Gore & the Mighty Allstars, and Bert May
was presented with a golden shovel in appreciation for all that he and his son Jacob have done to make the growth and expansion
of May Heavy-Equip possible. The new 12,000 sq. ft. facility is located on a seven acre site just off of Interstate 20. It has an eight
bay shop, three field service trucks, a heavy haul truck and a mobile lube truck. May Columbia currently employs 20 full time employees.
