With seven branches across North and South Carolina, MAY-RHI, an NED company, depends on factory-trained staff to service and support our customers. Our Grimesland, NC branch is especially important, because it is also the original location of Rob’s Hydraulics Inc that was acquired by NED in 2018. Rob Lynch started Rob’s Hydraulics in 1998, when he and two partners began rebuilding cylinders in a school gymnasium. It wasn’t long before he built a full-time mechanic and fabrication shop. In 2002, he moved all operations to their current facility in Grimesland, North Carolina.  With years of experience working on heavy equipment hydraulic repairs, he seized on an opportunity to represent Hyundai Construction Equipment. “The hydraulic repair work led us into working on heavy equipment, such as excavators, loaders and dozers,” said Lynch. “We started building a strong service reputation, which grew when we got a couple of small service trucks. It was at that point that Hyundai got involved.” Later, RHI grew to represent many other heavy equipment lines including Yanmar, Takeuchi, Manitou and others.

Now called MAY-RHI, the the Rob’s Hydraulics Inc family continues to thrive as part of a much larger dealership.  Rob Lynch serves as Chief Technical Officer for the company, and leads the customer support team across all NED companies.
